“ I call BS on the negative reviews - was here on a Tuesday afternoon for Happy Hour that starts at 3pm until 5pm. The attention of bar staff and servers was great - friendly, engaging and efficient. I've driven past this 'old school' establishment for nearly 35 years. And with the new management and an entire facility make-over - this should be the new Happy Hour spot for those living in Santa Cruz who want a some unique and local craft beers and wines on tap. The food was on point. I shall return. ”
“ This place is awesome! I recently got to try both the restaurant and pool experience and they were both excellent. The beer selection is remarkable and the food is quite good. My only gripe is the sourdough bread that didn't go well with the "big Italian" sandwich I got. Other sandwiches on the menu featured this bread so I might just avoid sandwiches. The back deck overlooking the creek and actual trout farm was a great place for Sunday brunch! Strange service that day, I asked how many of the large list of beers were on tap (turns out all of them!) and got "I'm only 16, I don't know anything!"... The pool was awesome, nice and warm brined pool was a joy to float in. The pool snack shack features canned beers from local breweries as well as food delivery to your cabana! We had a group of about 16 people and rented two cabanas, it was super fun! I'll definitely be back here in the future, check'em out! ”
